Didier Tholot's FC Sion put in their weakest performance against Bellinzona, but they did win for the third time in as many games. Timothy Fayulu also kept a clean sheet for the third time. In Tourbillon, in front of more than 6,800 spectators, Sédun won thanks to a goal from Nias Hefti.

Valais dominated the first half. Sédun turned the ball over with very little waste in their play. From the moment they lost the ball, they recovered quickly and high up the pitch. Finally, their dominance was rewarded in the 11th minute. Nias Hefti fired a long-range shot past the keeper to open his account for his new club. The full-back put in a great performance on the left, both defensively and offensively. The only scare in front of goal came on the half-hour mark when Tosetti failed to connect with a good Ticino cross.

After the break, FC Sion looked a different side, a little more tense. It has to be said that the Ticino were a little less timid than in the first half. The pressure increased with each Valais pass to the back. This pressure allowed Sandro Chieffo's men to create some good situations. If the defence failed to repel the danger, they could count on Timothy Fayulu to be at his best. The Sédun keeper had to intervene in front of Alounga (53rd) and Centinaro (67th). Despite the tense finish, FC Sion managed to hold on to their lead for the rest of the game. The win also gave the fans a second consecutive victory in Tourbillon in the space of a week. Their next home game is against FC Baden on September 1.

With this third win, the Sédunois have made the perfect start to the season and will travel to Wil full of confidence. Next Friday, against the St. Gallen club, Didier Tholot's men will face their real test as they take on a team that has also made a perfect start with three wins.
