FC Sion are delighted to announce the arrival of Liam Chipperfield. The young midfielder arrives from FC Basel.
Born on 14 February 2004, the 19-year-old midfielder has spent all his formative years with the Rhineland club. He has also been called up at every level of the Swiss U21s, U15s, U16s, U18s and U19s. The son of Scott Chipperfield, a former Australian international and player with the Basel club, played five Super League matches, scoring one goal, and took part in one European match in the Conference League.
We welcome Liam Chipperfield to the Valais and hope to see him continue his progression in the red and white shirt!
