The U21s came from behind to draw with FC Monthey. The other junior teams in the Swiss Cup failed to qualify for the next round. Here's a look back at our juniors' results.

FC Monthey - FC Sion M21 2-2 (1-1)

The excellent start made by the young Valais hopefuls was soon rewarded. In the 19th minute, Yohan Aymon opened the scoring for the visitors. Well into the game, Stéphane Sarni's men were caught out twice (26th and 69th) and found themselves behind in this Valais derby. Finally, at the very end of the match, Thibaut Constantin was able to level the scores by converting an injury-time penalty. Stéphane Sarni was full of praise for his team: "We saw an U21 team that was ambitious and logically wanted to win this derby. The team was generous and hard-working, and the content was interesting. We may have conceded two avoidable goals, but our opponents were fortunate. Above all, we created 7 or 8 real chances. In the end, we came back from a goal down. I'd like to congratulate the team on their commitment. It's great to see a team in such a good frame of mind in a match of this importance. Next week, the U21s host Pully (Saturday, 15:00) in Tourbillon.
