The Swiss Football League (SFL) Licensing Committee has issued FC Sion with licence I in the first instance, as the club has met the legal, administrative, sporting, financial, safety and infrastructure requirements. As a result, the Valais club now has a licence to play for the 2024-2025 season!
The I licence is required to take part in any UEFA competitions and allows the club to compete in the Credit Suisse Super League.
