LE FC SION

Sion won in style in Neuchâtel and ended the first round with 18 points from 9 games. This puts FC Sion in second place, two points behind FC Thun and two ahead of FC Wil. In fact, this first match of the second round offers Didier Tholot's men the chance to draw level with the St. Gallen club if they win tomorrow evening.

The first meeting between the two sides ended 0-0 on the artificial turf of the LIDL Arena. Neither side was able to gain the upper hand in a tight encounter.

LE FC WIL

Brunello Iacopetta's team ended the first quarter of the championship in third place with 16 points. After going five games unbeaten, the St. Gallen outfit fell behind at the end of the first round. In their last four matches, FC Wil have won just once against Neuchâtel Xamax, losing all three. The St. Gallen club have also suffered back-to-back defeats to Stade Nyonnais (2-0) and Aarau (0-2).

The lethal weapon is Sofian Bahloul. Very much in the spotlight since the start of the season, he is the league's top scorer with six goals. With an assist, he was involved in seven of FC Wil's sixteen goals.
