FC Sion are delighted to announce the return of Didier Tholot to the helm of their first team. He will be an important part of the club's new rebuilding project.
Tholot, who has already spent time with FC Sion as a player and coach, is returning to a club he knows by heart and with which he has enjoyed great success. In his last two spells with the club, he won the Swiss Cup (2009 and 2015). After his last spell in Valais, he took charge of AS Nancy-Lorraine and Pau Football Club in France's second division. In the south-west of France, he has managed to stabilise Pau FC in Ligue 2 for the last three seasons.
FC Sion is delighted to be able to count on Didier Tholot's skills once again. His style of play, his values and his principles will enable us to get back on a sound footing at a time when the club needs to start rebuilding. We are convinced that Didier Tholot has all the qualities needed to successfully carry out this new project.
