Didier Tholot and Cristian Souza met journalists at the traditional pre-match press conference on Thursday, 24 hours ahead of the match against Wil.

Here's what to take away from the press conference:

Didier Tholot, on the first quarter of the championship:
"First of all, you have to remember where you come from. We had a decent first round. All we need is the last quarter of an hour against FC Thun to call it a successful first round. We showed a great state of mind and consistency in content. Anyone can beat anyone in this championship. I think the team ahead of us will be the one with the most consistent results."

Didier Tholot, on tomorrow's match:
"We had a positive reaction to Neuchâtel and we need to continue in that vein. The 3-0 scoreline was important. Lately, we've been playing better and being more available. We mustn't relax, because tomorrow's game will be complicated. We're up against a good team. They've lost Lukembila and changed their system slightly over the last few games. We'll have to focus solely on ourselves, putting the same intensity and movement on the pitch."

Didier Tholot, on Cristian Souza:
"He arrived a little later in the preparations and it took him some time to understand what we wanted, particularly in terms of attacking and defensive movements. The language barrier may have slowed him down, even though he's improving in French. He's an available player, technical, quick and capable of making the difference with a hook. He's got to keep it up, as he's done very well in the last two games. He also brings us a lot of good humour and he's good for the group."

Cristian Souza, on his start to the season:
"I spent a month in Uruguay during the summer. I arrived here late in the preparations. Every time I came on, I tried to do my best and bring something to the team. I did some personal training on the side to catch up. Today, I'm still not 100%, but I'm feeling better and better as the games go on."

Cristian Souza, on coming to Sion and his style of play:
"I came here because Sion is an important club in Switzerland and the team has plenty of room for improvement. I wasn't afraid to come here when I saw the problems we had last year. The team has a great mentality and we want to win as many games as possible. I'm a player who loves the ball, so it's not my style to be aggressive, but I know how to be when pressing."

Sion - Wil, tomorrow at 8.15pm at Tourbillon!
