The Valais outfit are delighted to announce the arrival of Dejan Sorgic, their first signing of the summer. The striker, who has been released following the end of his contract with FC Lucerne, has signed a season-long contract with FC Sion.
Born on 15 September 1989 (aged 33), the Swiss-Serbian player trained at FC Lucerne before gaining experience in Switzerland and abroad (Schaffhausen, Kriens, Thun, Auxerre and Lucerne). This is a man with a wealth of experience who joins Didier Tholot's contingent. With over 200 games in the Swiss Football League, Dejan Sorgic has established himself as a regular striker in the Swiss league in recent years. Last season, he scored eight goals in 23 games for FC Lucerne.
