FC Sion are delighted to announce the signing of Valais defender Jan Kronig from FC Aarau.
A native of Zermatt, Jan took his first steps on the football pitch at FC Brig-Glis before embarking on his elite training with BSC Young-Boys. Subsequently loaned out to Schaffhausen and Wil before being transferred to Aarau, the man from the Upper Valais has played more than 135 Challenge League games at just 23 years of age.
A versatile player, Kronig plays in the centre of defence, but can also express himself on the left flank. In Valais, he will wear the number 17 shirt and will be eligible to play when FC Baden visit Tourbillon next week.
