FC Sion are delighted to announce the arrival of Cristian Souza. The Uruguayan winger has made a free transfer to Valais following the termination of his contract with AC Bellinzona.
Born on 28 August 1995, the 27-year-old arrived in Switzerland in the summer of 2021. Prior to that, he had played for a number of Uruguayan clubs and had also discovered the Mexican and Peruvian leagues. With AC Bellinzona, he played a total of 63 games, scoring 15 goals and providing 9 assists. Last season, in his first season in the Challenge League, he scored 7 goals in 30 games and provided 8 assists.
