FC Sion are delighted to announce the arrival of a new addition to their midfield. Ali Kabacalman has joined FC Sion on a free transfer, having reached the end of his contract with Yverdon-Sport.
Born in Lausanne on 27 September 1995, Ali Kabacalman trained with Lausanne-Sport before moving on to Swiss clubs such as Chiasso, Rapperswil-Jona and Yverdon-Sport. The defensive midfielder is an established Challenge League player with over 100 appearances to his name. Last season, he played a key role in the northern Vaud club's title triumph, making 34 appearances (3 goals and 5 assists), including 31 as a starter. Sion will be his second Valais club, after nine years with FC Monthey.
